Torres Hospitality Consulting
Commitment to the people and the sector
Consulting is a way of doing business. Social responsibility is a way of understanding the role we play in the sector and in society.
At Torres Hospitality Consulting, we understand that our contribution to the sector doesn't begin or end with client projects. Over the years, we have participated in educational, social, and community initiatives that reflect the values that also guide our professional activity: respect, generosity with knowledge, and commitment to people.
This page lists some of those specific actions.
What we do
Torres Hospitality Consulting is a principal partner of the AKRA Barbara Rugby Club Summer School, an initiative that brings rugby to children and young people aged 6 to 15 in San Juan Beach, Alicante, with qualified instructors in a formative, safe and values-filled environment.
As part of this sponsorship, Torres Hospitality Consulting covers the medical insurance for all attendees — a very concrete way of understanding social responsibility: protecting what matters most.
This collaboration reflects values that also guide our professional activity: respect, camaraderie, effort, inclusion, and teamwork.
Regular and free publication of content on Revenue Management and Ancillary Revenue through multiple channels, with the aim of democratizing access to strategies and tools that are usually only available to large chains.
Newsletter, podcast, YouTube videos, Instagram posts and TikTok content geared towards the Spanish-speaking hotel professional.
Over the years, Pablo Torres has dedicated time and experience to supporting young people and professionals in the sector at key moments in their development, both in Spain and in the United Kingdom.
Personalized mentoring for young people in the sector
Direct support for people entering the hotel industry: career guidance, resolution of practical doubts and support in professional decision-making.
Mentoring in Otolo during the pandemic
During the pandemic, Pablo Torres participated as a mentor in Otolo, an international community dedicated to supporting and connecting talent within the hospitality sector. At a particularly difficult time for the industry, this collaboration allowed him to support professionals in the sector, share experience, and offer practical guidance in a context marked by uncertainty.
Collaboration with Spear in London
During his time in London, Pablo Torres collaborated with Spear, a social project focused on improving the employability of young people with integration difficulties, helping them prepare for job interviews, strengthen their confidence and develop practical skills to access the labor market.
Creation of HospiTECHlity
Pablo Torres launched HospiTECHlity, an educational platform aimed at bringing tourism students closer to the main digital tools of the hotel sector: PMS, CRM, CRS, channel managers and other key platforms in hotel operations.
The initiative was adopted by the University of Alicante, the University of Cordoba and the School of Tourism of Seville, improving the employability and technological preparation of their students.
